I'm lost beyond all compare in this game, this is confusing as hell. Someone please clarify in easy way. I have read the rule throughly and still don't understand. One more thing ZULU!!!

What do you need clarified?

And yeah, I bet it's a little confusing at first - we trying some new stuff this game. Don't worry, though, you'll get the hang of it.

I need to darken it anyway, the resource nodes are impossible to distinguish. Same for Minotaur.

Just that the color palette in Paint.net is all bright colors and MSPaint doesn't work for some reason.

Give me a couple minutes to darken it, will edit this post.

We've pretty much got an empty map at the moment, and I'll be focusing on expanding into empty terrain as much as I can.

Clever though, trying to suggest possible starting positions, subtly trying to decide where people should start for them...

i would just like to add that it would be really helpful to have the mapmaker(and do we have one of those yet?) keep an updated map in the map thread as in the last game

I was just wondering if we should name landmarks. I mean it's all good and well to call the territories by number, but naming the landmarks I think would add a little something.

By "landmarks" I assume you mean things like the Great Peninsula?

I was kinda going with 272/273/274 is a giant fucking volcano, and that the huge sections in the middle of the mainland were jungle.

Also, yeah Turn 2 (February) begins in about 9.25 hours.

Do we want to allow expansion of non-adjacent territory by way of river and sea? I don't mean to colonize all the way to the great lake in one jump, or across the ocean by way of the East River, but I might want to strategically skip a few jungle-infested in-betweens. Japanese Communists (treasonous villains they may be ) also inquired about colonizing a bit down or upriver using their hook-shaped waterway.

Yes, but like last game, big jumps have to have some good fluff to go with them.

Should we give bonuses for rivers,mountians, ect.?

i would think rivers should be used for trading or movement of colonizing teams or armies.... just make fluff reasons for whatever you do
