Nation Game 5 Pregame Discussion Thread

Here you can plan for NG5.

I propose we go back to Medieval/Fantasy Europe, or use a near-future, soft-scifi setting for the whole Earth.

We were planning an Inter-Galactic game, full of fluffy goodness, and dynamic playing stylr, but again nothings set in stone.

Yeah medival/fantasy europe sounds great. Thats an epic idea. Emphasis on the fantasy part though. The soft-scifi thing is good to. I'm not to big on really futuristic scifi unless its 40k, and only 40k because it focuses the more than any other scifi on ground combat and ground wars instead of ship vs ship combat.

*sighs* Hopefully the many hours of my time, writing rules for this game don't go to waste...

I'm no fattasy plan, but I'm into Warhammer 40k, nice to see someone here is to. But for the new nation game, I would much rather have a Medival Nation Game if thats the path were taking that path. A fuedal system would be a fun detail in a game. But yeah, fatasy not my gogo. But yeah interested in Medival.
But I'm going to do with the game I have of the rules written down for. Just not for a while...

Im into 40k as well(my whole god thing is Alpha Legion lolol)

IG, human cannon fodders the best cannon fodder.

Medieval could be... interesting. I'm split between that and space.

I'll start a new game for space, hopefully more than four people play though... and someone will make a NG5.

Bro warhammer and warhammer 40k are fucking badass, like some of the best fantasy/scifi settings eve r. taking anything from those games and adding it into your game, weather it be lore or game mechanics, would automatically make it beast.

Nope, wasn't being sarcastic being straight, although I wouldn't say im a fanboy of anything I just think 40k is one of the best scifi universes out there.
