We don't have game masters.
Kobo1d writes the rules, Honolulu makes sure the forum doesn't kill itself, and Syrnn runs the Diplomacy subforum, but we don't really have a gamemaster. I suppose kobo1d is pretty close, but since he doesn't do the map anymore and we no longer need someone to keep track of huge strings of numbers that doesn't really matter.

A dedicated game master would be awesome, but who wants to do that?

Just consider me a veteran player with a knack for organizing things, one of the many players who helps keep the game running smoothly.

Gotta stand by the enemy on this one. He wrote some pretty good fluff, and over-the-top expansion is allowable if you have A+++ fluff and something to justify it (i.e. a body of water).

R-3, territories with resources don't give gold.

Honolulu or kobo1d, can we get a ruling on territory 54? I personally say it should go to Ashran because he wrote some fluff, while scarecrow just said "i'm taking this one because i want it," but I figure a mod should be able to resolve it pretty quickly.

I think the rule is that the first person to claim it gets it. So, whoever claimed it first, I can't be arsed to check.

Well the thing is that it was a non-adjacent territory. I'd let it slide if he had said "we go around the peninsula by ship," but he just said "i take 54."

also, irishman somehow claimed a non-adjacent, landlocked territory.

I have no particular preference, but I hope it gets resolved with Traditional Viking Combat.

You do not receive any income, at all, from a territory with a resource in it.
That is why Honolulu and I don't own the entire map yet, because our early military advantages cost us economic stability.

And how did you reply to Ashran's comments about 54 without noticing that we were talking about 54?
