"Very well."
Distant gunfire begins to crack, the Kommandant smiles, the guerillas have no idea what he has in store for them.
OOC: and this is why mercs in a populated city is a
BAD thing
Peering through is binoculars the Comrade Major, directing the defense of the Red Zone as the Nationalist civilians call this area, issuing orders to units to counter the German advance. The Comrade Major notices a group of women and children running further into the city to safety be gun down mercilessly, one child being shot in the arm attempts to crawl away, only to be shot point blank by a German officer.
The Comrade Major sheds a tear, then wipes it away.
"to all sharp shooters, aim for officers, then radio men, CUT THERE COMMUNICATIONS"
by this time the Germans with superior numbers and weaponry start to flood the pre-designated "kill zones" suffering heavy losses they retreat and regroup then assault again, many are engulfed by the flames of the German flamer teams but many Germans are engulfed as well, as bullets puncture the tanks of some Flamer operators, sending up a hot jet of flames to light there comrades alight.
it seams as tho the anti-tank teams sent for reinforcement are pulling there weight, a trick they are using currently is to send dogs out with timed fuses, these dogs get under the tanks and explode, killing the tank and creating a road block. only a few avenues of approach are left for the Mechanized German forces, the others now blocked off by the dead shells of there once precious tanks block all entry to any armored vehicles, but infantry still attempt to push trough.
The Comrade Major gives a short message to all forces
"WE MUST HOLD, THE CIVILIANS ARE ALMOST ALL EVACUATED, HOLD COMRADES, HOLD THESE FASCISTS AT OUR DOORSTEP."
